Crowberry Consulting Ltd is a community engaged business. Our staff take part in a variety of activities to support local biodiversity and local charities. In 2016 we became official sponsors of a song thrush bird on the Earth Trust Nature Reserve and in 2010 we sponsored a rare tropical frog who still lives in the Manchester Museum vivarium. Since 2006 we have taken part in many UK challenges such as Race for Life and in August 2017, Becky swam 1 mile in Loch Lomond to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We have raised funds for McMillian Cancer CareCancer ResearchLymphoma Association and the Bloom Appeal with Becky completing the Great Swim in the Salford Docks in 2014.

We also work with local North West based Universities to provide student placements such as through the Unite with Business Scheme and the Santander Internship Programme.

CROWBERRY CONSULTING LTD JOINS ASSOCIATE PROGRAMME WITH LIVERPOOL CITY REGION FUTURE ENERGY

Crowberry Consulting has recently become an associate consultant to the Liverpool City Region Future Energy programme – which is run by Inventya and Liverpool John Moores University with funding from the EU. The LCR Future Energy programme is a £3.7 million project funded by the EU to provide flexible support to SMEs in the renewable energy supply chain. Globally sales in the renewable energy supply chain exceed £1.68 trillion and are forecast to grow by 47% to 2021/222. The supply chain is vast and multi-tiered and can include developers, designers, engineering companies, technology providers etc. Crowberry Consulting as an approved associate consultant can apply for grants of up to £7,500 towards our consultancy costs (equivalent to 30% project fee) to fund the cost of external expertise to help SMEs to develop products, systems and processes required by the market, for example the implementation of ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management Standard, Energy Audits, Energy Gap Analysis and review of processes. To be eligible for this support the customer has to be a SME, be located in the Liverpool City Region, be currently operating within the renewable energy supply chain, or require support to enter the renewable energy supply chain. CROWBERRY CONSULTING LTD NAMED UK TOP 100 APPRENTICE EMPLOYER 2017

Crowberry Consulting Ltd have been awarded the prestigious Centrica Top 100 Apprentice Employer 2017. This award is provided to the best of the best employers in the country for apprenticeships.

The Awards, now in their fourteenth year, are run by the National Apprenticeship Service and recognise excellence in two areas: businesses that grow their own talent with apprentices and apprentices who have made a significant contribution to their workplaces. On being recognised as a Centrica Top 100 Apprentice Employer, Becky Toal MD said: “We are over the moon to receive this award which recognises Crowberry Consulting as a quality provider of apprenticeships. We have worked with local colleges for the last 5 years on roles such as Business Administration and Project Management. We were the only Chorley based business to receive this award!”. BECKY COMPLETES THE ASPIRE CHANNEL SWIM 2017!

Crowberry Consulting Ltd’s Managing Director, Becky Toal, has been successful in completing the Aspire Channel Swim for 2017!

Becky took on the challenge of swimming 22 miles, the equivalent of the English Channel, in a swimming pool that provided much calmer waters and significantly less danger! The task was set to be completed from 11th September to 4th December 2017, and for the second consecutive year, Becky completed the 22 miles. Becky took on the Aspire Channel Swim 2017 to help raise money and awareness for the Spinal Injury Research, Rehabilitation and Reintegration Charity.

In what was an extremely pleasing audit, Crowberry Consulting Ltd were found to have no major or minor non-conformities which is testament to the work the whole team has put in over the past months.

ISO 9001:2015 is a valuable asset that to the company as it ensures that we have a focus on customer satisfaction and continually improvement in the service that we can offer our customers. With continual improvement being at the heart of the Quality Management System, it makes it the perfect system for Crowberry Consulting Ltd to have in place as it fits in perfectly and helps the company achieve the targets to improve.

Crowberry Consulting Ltd has recently received re-certification to the UKAS accredited ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standard.

We have been working towards the standard over the past few years and have been carrying out activities such as supplier due diligence, customer satisfaction, recruitment processes and staff training. Becky Toal Managing Director said ”It is great to have our hard work recognised on Quality Management by an approved UKAS provider. All of our services from training, auditing and consultancy are included in the scope of our QMS. We look forward to continuing to gain feedback from our customers and suppliers going forward”.

HIGHLY COMMENDED SMALL COMPANY PROVIDER OF APPRENTICESHIPS

Crowberry Consulting Ltd are extremely pleased to have received the Highly Commended Award for small company provider of apprenticeships in the National Apprenticeship Awards regional finals.

Hosted in Liverpool, the awards were for companies in the North West, Liverpool and Cumbria and hundreds of applications were received for the region. Crowberry Consulting Ltd have provided quality apprenticeships for over 5 years in various roles. Becky Toal, Managing Director said: “we are over the moon to have received this award and have our efforts recognised in regards to the provision of apprenticeships”.

ONE MILE SWIM OF LOCH LOMOND IN AID OF MACMILLAN CANCER SUPPORT.

On 26th August 2017 Becky Toal took part in a one mile swim in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and successfully completed the course! Macmillan is a dedicated charity which provides nurses for cancer support. As you can imagine this was a huge challenge for Becky to take on and her thanks go out to all who have supported and sponsored her!

EMA ENERGY MANAGEMENT AWARDS WINNER!

Crowberry Consulting Ltd wins the Energy Management Consultancy Service of the Year at the EMEX show.

The annual Energy Managers Association Awards held at the ExCeL in London. Becky Toal MD said on winning the award, “This means a lot to the company to receive this recognition from the energy managers association and the judging panel, it represents 10 years of hard work supporting our customers on energy management via providing training, consultancy and auditing. We have supported many large and small business on energy management both in the UK and across Europe, with a special focus on both carbon foot-printing and ISO 50001 energy management standard. We aim to continue to support our customers on their energy management journey for many years to come.”

CYBER ESSENTIALS STANDARD

Crowberry Consulting Ltd has recently received re-certification to the UK GCHQ endorsed Cyber Essentials Standard.

This means that an independent authority has checked how we care for our data and anti-virus software including patch management and related issues. This standard gives our customers confidence in that our office based IT systems are up to date and protected. Becky Toal MD of Crowberry Consulting said “It is great to have our it systems and security externally audited and verified as secure. We hope other companies will see the value of cyber essentials and seek to implement this.”
